September: A Month of Fashion

Champs Elysées, Paris [Louis Vuitton Flagship]
What I Wore: Earrings- Chanel, Cropped Blazer-BCBG Max Azria, Eyewear-Tom Ford,Bag-BCBG Max Azria, Tee-Mossimo @Target, Jeans-Forever 21, Lipgloss- J Edward Beauty!

I owe quite a few write ups!! It was difficult to do pieces in London and France because of scheduling, but I’m back stateside!! Of course, the Parisians are still as polished and tailored as ever, and the British are as fashion-forward as expected. It was the best of both worlds…..

I will be delivering coverage and full photos from:

  • The Art of Fashion provided by JuJu Beez Models and Talent
  • Mobile Fashion Week 2012 (we had so much fun styling the looks!)
  • London Fashion Week 2012
  • Street Style from Paris and London

We ran into the fabulous Gabi Fresh, who is known as a heavy-hitter in the blogging world and has graced the stages of BET’s Rip the Runway. She was at the Somerset House to catch some runway shows as well and looked GREAT!

I’ll also share some tips to keep in mind when traveling overseas, making purchases, and attending shows. A few things to keep you on your toes and save a little money.

A big thanks to, a British shoe blog that highlights shoe trends. They were photographing street style at the shows and featured my shoes!! Check them out below; Its the leopard-print wedges I blogged about not long ago. I’m the brown legs with the freckles!

The Art of Fashion is a Success!

The Host of the Art of Fashion

[Photos are courtesy of E. F. Hunter of BrandMe Media]

Congratulations to Julie Causey and Darnell Jones of Ju Ju Beez Models and Talent for a well executed event!!!As the host, I was delighted to see everything go well!  VH1 star K. Michelle did a great performance, and the designers provided great Fall 2012 designs!

I wore a vintage royal purple jumpsuit from online boutique Trendi Confessions, and the Gina blouse from Sacred Hearts Collection.  The blouse pairs perfectly with a pencil skirt or pants (TI’s wife Tiny wore it below with black trousers).  It was the perfect look for the night!

The show featured the following designers:

Jamie Boggs of Trendi Confessions

Natasha Dancy of Diva Fab

Maria Allen of Made by Maria

Brandi Russel of Sacred Heart Collections

Jorita Johnson of Planet Jag

Zathan Marcs of Zathan Marcs

Pictures of the runway show will follow, but we are preparing for Mobile Fashion Week and London Fashion Week, so I can’t promise them within the next week!!

The Art of Fashion is TOMORROW!

I can’t believe it’s almost here!!! The prequel to Mobile Fashion Week, The Art of Fashion, takes place tomorrow at 7 pm, at the Center for the Living Arts, Space 301. Mobile will receive a treat as designers hailing from Atlanta, New Orleans and Ft. Wayne Indiana showcase. I am extremely excited about the theatrical, avant garde designs of Nathan Marks. Of course a full review will follow so check back! BrandMe Media and members of the Mobile Fashion Week board will be in attendance front row, so we will ensure that full coverage is provided.
